About 60,000 students were affected by the incident. Two men, aged 29 and 32, were arrested on 24 June on suspicion of burglary. The men were released for investigation while investigations continue. Before results day, it was revealed that 78 students suspected of profiting from the fraud would have their results withheld. This is the largest number of withheld grades in a single fraud incident.
